Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 24 November 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Jackpot Chain interface ("the Interface"), a front-end application that allows Users to interact with autonomous smart contracts deployed on a public blockchain ("the Smart Contracts").

By accessing or using the Interface, you ("User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Interface or interact with the Smart Contracts.

2. No Gambling Services / No Licensing

The Interface and the Smart Contracts are provided solely as software. They do not constitute:

  • a gambling service,
  • a lottery operator,
  • a wagering facilitator,
  • a gaming platform,
  • financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

No gambling, gaming, or lottery licence is held or offered by the Interface operators.

All interactions are initiated voluntarily by Users directly on the blockchain.

3. Nature of the Interface

The Interface is an informational and convenience tool only.

The Interface operators:

  • do not operate or administer the Smart Contracts,
  • do not manage prize pools, jackpots, outcomes, or randomness mechanisms,
  • do not control User funds,
  • do not intervene in contract execution, modification, or termination,
  • do not guarantee access, uptime, or functionality.

The Smart Contracts are autonomous, self-executing code that Users may interact with independently of the Interface.

4. Software-Only Disclaimer

The Interface and Smart Contracts are provided strictly as software, not as services. No customer service, operational management, custodial function, or administrative activity is provided.

Users acknowledge that:

  • interactions occur directly on the blockchain,
  • they are not receiving a product, service, or operator-managed experience,
  • they bear full responsibility for all actions taken through their wallets.

5. Eligibility

To use the Interface, you represent and warrant that:

  1. You are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  2. You are legally permitted to engage with blockchain-based software.
  3. You are not accessing the Interface from a restricted or prohibited jurisdiction (see Section 6).
  4. You act solely on your own behalf and not for any prohibited third party.

6. Restricted Jurisdictions

Access to the Interface is not permitted from jurisdictions where participation in blockchain-based prize mechanisms, games of chance, or lottery-like activities is regulated, restricted, or prohibited.

Restricted jurisdictions include, without limitation:

United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia (certain states), Canada (certain provinces), and any territory where local laws prohibit or require licensing for online gaming, gambling, or similar prize systems.

This list is non-exhaustive. Users remain solely responsible for determining legality in their jurisdiction.

Geoblocking Measures:

IP-based geoblocking may be implemented but is not guaranteed to be effective. Bypassing such measures constitutes a breach of these Terms.

7. User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for:

  • compliance with all applicable laws and regulations,
  • determining whether participation is lawful in their jurisdiction,
  • securing their wallets, private keys, and devices,
  • paying any taxes or reporting obligations,
  • understanding risks inherent to blockchain technology,
  • verifying the correctness of transaction details and contract interactions.

The Interface operators do not provide recovery services, legal guidance, or technical guarantees.

8. Risk Disclosure

Use of the Interface and Smart Contracts involves significant risk. By using them, you acknowledge and accept all such risks, including but not limited to:

8.1 Smart-Contract Risks

  • bugs, vulnerabilities, exploits, logic flaws, MEV attacks,
  • permanent loss of assets due to erroneous interactions.

8.2 Blockchain Risks

  • irreversible transactions,
  • network congestion, failures, or forks.

8.3 Market & Gas Fee Risks

  • token volatility,
  • sudden increases in gas costs.

8.4 Wallet & Security Risks

  • loss of private keys or seed phrases,
  • phishing, malware, and fraudulent contract impersonation.

8.5 Regulatory Risks

  • legal restrictions in your jurisdiction,
  • changing regulations,
  • tax or reporting obligations.

If you do not understand or accept these risks, do not use the Interface.

9. Privacy Policy

The Interface is designed to operate without collecting personal data or using cookies.

9.1 No Personal Data

The Interface does not collect:

  • names,
  • emails,
  • addresses,
  • wallet private keys,
  • personal identifiers.

9.2 Analytics

Anonymous, non-personal telemetry may be collected through Aptabase solely for performance and error monitoring. No PII or wallet addresses are collected.

9.3 Wallet Connectivity

Wallet connections are facilitated through thirdweb. The Interface does not access, hold, or control private keys or funds.

9.4 No Data Storage

The Interface does not create accounts or store user data.

10. No Custody

The Interface:

  • does not hold User funds,
  • cannot reverse or modify transactions,
  • cannot access wallets,
  • cannot recover lost assets.

All interactions occur directly on the blockchain.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Interface and Smart Contracts are provided "AS IS", "AS AVAILABLE", and WITHOUT WARRANTIES of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to:

  • fitness for a particular purpose,
  • non-infringement,
  • reliability, availability, or accuracy,
  • absence of errors, exploits, or interruptions.

Users assume full responsibility for using the Interface.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The Interface operators, contributors, developers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or statutory damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of assets, data, business, revenue, reputation, regulatory consequences, or legal liability.

Users expressly waive any claim arising from:

  • use of the Interface or Smart Contracts,
  • errors, failures, exploits, or delays,
  • interactions with malicious actors,
  • jurisdictional or regulatory consequences,
  • reliance on Interface displays or behaviour,
  • bypassing geoblocking or legal restrictions.

Users engage with the Interface and Smart Contracts at their sole risk.

13. Interface Is Not the Operator of the Smart Contracts

The Interface does not operate, run, manage, administer, or control the Smart Contracts.

The Smart Contracts are autonomous and independently accessible directly on the blockchain.

Use of the Interface does not imply interaction with or receipt of services from an operator, platform, or organisation.

14. Amendments

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Interface constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Seychelles, excluding its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration seated in Seychelles, conducted in accordance with Title IX (Articles 110–150) of the Seychelles Commercial Code, or any successor legislation.

Users waive any right to participate in class actions, collective proceedings, or representative litigation.
